Sipnosis

Dos cineastas dejan Macao en una aventura de descubrimiento de una ciudad-laberinto, multicultural y misteriosa, donde los recuerdos de la infancia - recuerdos destacados de la realidad vivida en Macao - tener un diálogo con los recuerdos de Oriente construidos por los códigos de el cine y la literatura - recuerdos que vivían en una atracción en la realidad, creando un testimonio que trata de levantar el velo sobre el pasado y el presente. Un álbum personal de la geografía física y emocional, estructurada como una investigación disfrazado de thriller, donde el rompecabezas de la historia desafía la realidad

JOAO PEDRO RODRIGUES

João Pedro Rodrigues nació en Lisboa en 1966 e inició sus actividades como director en 1997. Comenzó como asistente de dirección en película de realizadores como Alberto Seixas Santos, Teresa Villaverde. Su primer largometraje fue El Fantasma, una história sobre los afectos de una relación entre dos hombres. Odete (2005) fue su segunda pelicula presentada en el Festival de Cannes. La mayor parte de su trabajo se desarrolla con la productora Rosa Filmes.

 

 JOÃO RUI GUERRA DA MATA

Estos portugueses trabajan juntos por primera vez en 1995. En 1997, João Rui protagoniza Happy birthday!, primero corto de João Pedro. Desde entonces, João Rui ha sido director de arte en todos los filmes de João Pedro, además de trabajar en los guiones. En 2007, escriben y dirigen el corto China, china. De hecho, la idea de hacer A Última vez que vi macau surge de los viajes al Extremo Oriente, para promover la filmografía de João Pedro.
